Praise and Press In HIS Promise

I woke up early the other morning for my prayer time.

“Lord, I need a devotional for the people that will read this blog today.”   One of the things that was heavy on my heart was thinking about the promises He has put on my heart or spoken to me about that has yet to come into fruition. I know the Word says, ” God is not a man, that he should lie ;neither the son of man, that he should repent; hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? (Numbers 23:19) KJV……… But its been years!!  Nevermind that I’m tired of waiting, even though  His Word says,” But do not forget this one thing, dear friends; With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.”  2 Peter 3:8) KJV.

So now the enemy is plaguing my mind with negative thoughts. Maybe,” I didn’t hear God clearly”???   Maybe, this and that!!

WAIT! let’s change this around and W.A.R…….With the Word of GOD and prayer.

My Prayer: Lord, you have promised me  these things and I stand on your Word. You are NOT  a liar,  Your promises are yes and amen.  I have faith to believe that it will come to past.  In Jesus Name, AMEN!

After my prayer, He brought to my mind the song, “Press In His Presence” by Shana Wilson and the scripture to follow is Luke 1: 45, ” And Blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. Let the lyrics minister to you. ‘God calls you blessed because you believe in HIS promises.  Blessed also means favored.  Oh, how it’s wonderful to be blessed and favored.  I know you have heard someone say ” I’m blessed and highly favored”, well this is what they probably mean biblically.  Stay encourage and God is going to do IT, whatever, IT may be. You knew that He would so praise HIM and press in His presence (Worship) as the song writer say.
