Hey Victorious Ones, I wanted to share one of my testimonies that I shared with Facebook a few years back.
Story Time!
I was due for an oil change, so I drove to a local oil change express establishment for an oil change. When I arrived, I had small talk with the attendant as another attendant did my service. As I’m sitting in my car waiting, one attendant turned facing me and the other attendant and said casually, ” that woman is over there screaming for help”. So, we 3 look at each other and checked out what he was referring to and there was a female screaming for help holding a male as he lay down lifeless. Something inside of me became bold as a lion as I get out of the car to help. One attendant asks something in the words of, ” are you gonna help or what are you gonna do? I say, I’m going to “pray”.
As I’m walking towards the couple, I’m calling emergency dispatchers and praying at the same time. There were construction workers and on lookers spectating and doing nothing. Eventually, there was one construction worker attempting to do CPR as I’m directing the dispatchers to the man that needed help. I’m praying in the spirit (tongues) and talking in English as the same time petitioning for mercy as the man is turning blue in the face. This man was dying before our eyes, but I wasn’t afraid. I kept calm as possible because now I know that it was the peace of God.
When help finally came, they are doing what they doing to keep the man alive, so I get on the phone with my pastor and only said, ” we need to pray”. My pastor immediately prays with me, and they are able to save the man’s life.
When the man grasps for air, we all are relieved and excited. One of the EMT’s comes to talk to us that helped to assist and stated that the man had only a few minutes and he would have died, and that the CPR was irrelevant because of a bunch of medical terminology that I can’t remember.
After all of this I had a chance to minister and pray with the girlfriend of the man that needed help.
Jeronica, why are sharing this story you may ask. A few things I got from this story Now that I didn’t get at that time.
First, Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world (1John 4:4). We have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of us and we are able to defeat death and everything else because as a believer in Christ, He paid the price so we can live forever. I was able to walk boldly and pray because the Word says, ” He have not given us the spirit of fear but love, power, and sound mind” ( 2 Timothy 1:7). also, it says. ” Not by might nor by power but by your sprit, says the Lord Almighty” (Zechariah 4:6). He is the Lion of Judah!
Secondly, even though I couldn’t physically do anything in a sense, I did what I knew Best and that was to pray. The Bible says to “pray without ceasing” (1Thessalonians 5:17), and “be anxious for nothing but in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, make your request known to God” (Philippians 4:6-7). I needed God to show up and show up quickly on this man’s behalf. I didn’t want to see him die in his sins because it was an overdose. We all don’t have that opportunity to have another chance to repent from our sins, so we need to do so NOW! The Lord is not slow about His promise as some count slowness but is patient towards us, not wishing for anyone to perish but for all to come into repentance” ( 2 Peter 3:9).
Lastly, At the end of the day, The Lord gets the glory for His faithfulness and mercy towards us. The word says that “God’s mercies are new every morning“ (Lamentations 3:23). Thank God for His mercies new every morning. I don’t know about you, but I need them every time I open up my eyes for a brand-new day.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that everyone reading this will be gentle as doves and bold and righteous as a lion. remind them that you are with them always. You say in Your Word that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Help us to stand on that truth and believe in it. I pray that we are not fearful but the faith that you put on the inside of us would rise up. I pray that we be servants not just on lookers or spectators in this season. This is a dying world, and You are on your way back and you will come in like a thief in the night so we must be ready always for your return. Father, we love you and we honor you. In Jesus name, Amen
Jeronica,

WOW! Amazing what an phenomenal testimony of how God will show up, not only allowing his hand to be shown in the situation, but also opening doors to introduce people to Christ.
